报告介绍 | 报告摘要:
Spillover in general is defined as the transport of a species, adsorbed or formed on a surface, to another surface In catalysis, only the spillover of catalytically active species is important. Hydrogen atoms are not usually produced on the surface of a support. In hydrogen spillover, H atoms are created on a metal surface and migrate to the surface of the support. The theoretical and experimental results of hydrogen adsorption on graphitic structures showed that spillover to a carbon support is possible. This suggests that spillover to a nonreducible support becomes possible when a graphitic type of carbonaceous material covers the support.
